“Great Mongolia-800” Foundation Objective and structure of the Foundation

The objective of the “Great Mongolia-800” Foundation is to collect donations from public as well as private companies and individuals for funding the events planned by the National Committee, which is charged with the task of organizing the commemorative celebration of the 800^th Anniversary of the Great Mongolian State.

The Foundation’s Management Board consists of 10 members (mostly Cabinet Members) headed by the Prime Minister of Mongolia.

The resources of the Foundation will be made up of the following sources:

• Donations and grants from donor countries and international organizations;
  
• Donations from Mongolian and foreign citizens, public organizations and private companies;
  
• All other forms of resources not prohibited by law.
  

Our sponsors may rest assured that your donations will be utilized in an efficient way for the accomplishment of the following tasks:

·         Establishment of a memorial complex of a monument of Chinggis Khan as well as a State Ceremony Palace;
·         Establishment of a memorial complex of Mongolian State Seal and Mongolian Script;    
·         Building a memorial complex of the Great Khaans at the ancient capital - Karakorum;
·         Making documentary as well as feature films such as “ The History of the Establishment of the Great State”, “ The Two Horses of Chinggis Khaan” and “The Legends of Argusan Khuurchi”;
·         Promotion of Mongolia throughout the world.

If you specify to which activities you would like to devote your donation we would be very pleased to follow your wish.   

Bonuses and incentives

Financial contributions by individuals, organizations and companies to the events of the Great Anniversary celebration will be highly appreciated and rewarded in a number of ways.

Sponsors can make financial as well as other forms of contributions to one particular event planned by the National Committee or to the celebration in general. In case that a sponsor makes more than one contribution for different events then the sum and number of all its contributions will be added up and considered for a bonus and incentive as a whole.  

If a sponsor makes contribution to a particular event, the name of the sponsor will be mentioned on an official brochure of the event as well as on other printed materials and media news. In addition, depending on the form, importance and the time of the contribution the following bonuses will be provided:

• Imprinting the names of contributor individuals and companies on memorial tablets;
  
• Invitations to attend the Anniversary ceremony as a special guest;
  
• Conferral of a certificate of honour from the National Committee;
  
• Imprinting the names of contributor individuals and companies on the “Memorial Book of the Great Anniversary” that will be published by the National Committee;
  
• Souvenirs.
  

Arrangements for financial and other forms of donations can also be made through intermediaries who will be registered at the Foundation on the basis of evidence that confirms their relationship and correspondence with contributor individuals as well as a proof of a donation transfer made from the sponsor to the Foundation.

The following bonuses will be provided to intermediaries for their service:

• Imprinting the names of a intermediary who made arrangements for a substantial amount of donation on the “Great Anniversary Honour Book”;
  
• 10 percent of the amount of donations will be awarded to an intermediary organizations and individuals that provided sufficient evidence of their role.
  

The right to use of the Anniversary logo 
                                    
The organizations and companies involved in organizing or financing the specific events to be organized during celebrations of the 800th Anniversary of the Great Mongolian State, that are planned by the National Committee, can use the “Great Mongol 800” logo free of charge for the purpose of advertising the event. To be able to use the logo free of charge, they must submit a written request to the “Great Mongol-800” Foundation to receive the right to use the logo and other relevant documents that would confirm their involvement as an organizer or sponsor of that particular event.

The Anniversary logo can be used for fee for products, services and advertisement purposes.
Written request to use the logo as well as for the confirmation of fee payment must be submitted to “Great Mongol-800” Foundation. The following fees are being charged for the use of logo:
For domestic companies and organizations – 300.000 MNT
For international organizations and foreign companies – 300$
For small enterprises – the amount of fee can be negotiated with the Director of the Foundation.
